Now beginning my second year of seminary, I am finally heeding the suggestion of many others who for the last year have been telling me to keep a journal of my journey.

While I admit I’m an extrovert, I’m pretty reserved and quite, especially when things get difficult.  One of my wife’s greatest complaints is how tight-lipped I get when something is not going well, or as expected.  She knows my silence is reason for concern.  So this will be a challenge for me…to keep expressing along this journey.

For an introduction, I’m attending Asbury Theological Seminary with a mix of classes in Orlando, FL and on-line.  I also instruct full-time at a vocational education school, currently teaching nights – 3pm – midnight.  I also homeschool my two middle-school girls and maintain our home, a sailing catamaran.  Yes, the four of us are cruising along on a 38′ yacht.  That’s us currently.

To understand how we got here will be food for further reflections but I’ll close with this:  The Lord has blessed us with this opportunity!
